Update on Last Year's Festival

Last year's festival raised a fabulous £8866 for local charities, our main recipient being Cransley Hospice, the Brigstock Country Park, the Brigstock Village Hall, the Brigstock United Reform Church, Sunnysiders and the Brigstock Archaelogical Group.

We have now raised over £100,000 since we first started way back in 2005!

So a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported last year from ourselves and our local charities.

Our Main Charities for 2023

This year, as always, all profits generated will go to charity. Our main recipients will be:

1. Cransley Hospice. Cransley provides care to patients where they choose to be. This may be in the patient's own home, outpatients, or within the hospice in-patient unit. Each year, the Hospice has to raise £1.4 Million to provide their inpatient and community based services, so let us try to help where we can to keep this vital service going. If you would like to make a one-off donation, you may do so from this page.
They support the whole family and offer the means to build support networks and reduce isolation to help make a positive difference to families coping with childhood cancer. As a parent-led charity, their experience working with families over the past 40 years means they understand the needs of families and the difficulties they face. For many parents and children, they are a social lifeline at what can be a traumatic and isolating time.

2. Corby Foodbank, organised by the Church of Corby, helps local individuals and families in crisis through the provision of food supplies. Local professional care-workers in Corby refer people to Foodbank, they are given a 3-day supply of food, a cup of coffee and help in finding other professionals who can help.
Foodbank enables the public to contributeto and support local well-being in a simple practical way.

Please come and enjoy the festival, but while you are here remember our main charities and the other local groups who work tirelessly for their causes and please give generously.

History

Since our first festival in 2005, we have raised over £103,600!, with the main recipients being Cransley Hospice, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, the Kettering General Hospital Childrens Special Care Unit, Kettering's Bladder and Bowel Foundation, Lakelands Hospice and Headway. In addition we have raised funds for other local groups, helped fund the bridge over the brook and smaller projects such as a new park bench at the cemetery and a new village notice board. So once again a HUGE thank you to all who have attended and donated towards these worthy causes!

How You Can Get Involved

Sponsorship is a great way for local businesses to promote themselves and give something back to the local community by supporting charities working in the area.

We have several options available including the ever popular sponsorship a barrel of ale for £120. Sponsoring a barrel enters you into a raffle to become the main sponsor for the entire event. This guarantees you maximum exposure at the event itself, promotion in all our publicity material and local press coverage. This is a great way to win a sponsorship package that would cost many times more to buy directly.

As well as a chance to be our main sponsor, barrel sponsorship buys you space in our programme, your company's name on the barrel and tasting notes and 2 tickets to our Saturday night music night with 2 pints of your chosen beer to sample.

Other options include an advert in our programme starting at just £35 for a small advert up to a full page advert for just £180.

So if you feel you would like to assist, either financially or with your time or services, please contact us - We would love to hear from you.
