Daytime Entertainment
The daytime is a family event for adults and children, and offers a range of child-friendly activities and music.
While we have not yet finalised details, now that the new bridge is in place, we aim to expand the event to include better use of the meadow area beside the village hall. In the past we have had the following stalls and activities, so please come along and enjoy yourselves:
- Hog-Roast and Barbeque
- Bouncy Castle
- The Re-Entrants Ukelele Folk Band - a big hit with visitors
- Sturmey Archers - discover the Robin Hood in you!
- Electric karts - safe for all ages, apart from the website editor's son...
- The traditional visit from Woodland Pytchley Fox Hounds
- Penalty Shoot-out competition, provided by Thrapston footballers
- Bar Skittles Competition
- Face painting, Tombola, Little Tykes area for pre-schoolers, and lots more...
PLEASE HELP!! 1: This year, we are planning an 'open mic' stage, for acoustic bands/soloists to perform at.
If you are interested in performing a session at this year's festival, please let us know. We cannot promise to give you a slot, but you never know...
PLEASE HELP!! 2: We would also like to have a climbing wall, so if you have one available of know where we can hire one, again, please let us know.
Evening Entertainment
The evening entertainment provides a background for you to come and taste the beers while listening to great quality local bands. We are currently searching for our top-line band for the year, so watch this space... As well as the beers, a magnificent hog-roast is available should you feel a little peckish. There is also a raffle/silent auction with terrific prizes - details to be confirmed.
