Daytime Entertainment
The daytime is a family event for adults and children, and offers a range of child-friendly activities and music.
While we have not yet finalised details, now that the new bridge is in place,
we aim to expand the event to include better use of the meadow area beside the village hall.
We have already booked the following stalls and activities, so please come along and enjoy yourselves:
- Hog-Roast and Barbeque
- Bouncy Castle
- The Crosskey Clogs from Peterborough - traditional North-West style Morris dancers
- Thorney Archers - discover the Robin Hood in you!
- Close-up Magic, by James Docherty, as seen in the Green Dragon on 'Specials' evenings
- Electric karts - safe for all ages, apart from the website editor's son...
- The traditional visit from Woodland Pytchley Fox Hounds
- Penalty Shoot-out competition, provided by Thrapston Town footballers
- Bar Skittles Competition
- Coconut Shy
- Little Tykes area for pre-schoolers
- Face painting, Tombola, Giant Jenga, and lots more...
Evening Entertainment
The evening entertainment provides a background for you to come and taste the beers while listening to great quality local bands. Our top-line band is once again the 'Seven Sinners', along with a disco. A magnificent hog-roast will also be available should you feel a little peckish. There is also a raffle/silent auction with terrific prizes - details to be confirmed.
